Graduate Scholarships and Research Grants

As part of its mission to help Philippine universities strengthen their applied research capacity to promote innovation-led economic growth in the country, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (STRIDE) Program is now accepting applications to the Graduate Scholarships in Science and Technology (GraSST) and Applied Research Grants programs.

The GraSST gives opportunities for students of Master’s and PhD degrees in science and technology-related programs to do coursework and dissertation research in U.S. universities for a year. The Applied Research Grants provide funding for science, technology and innovation-related research by the country’s academic institutions in partnership with either Philippine industries or U.S. universities.
