In an effort to beef-up the country’s preparedness in case of a bioterrorist attack, a seminar workshop on Biosecurity was organized and participated in by representatives from the academe and government, particularly the Department of Health and Department of Agriculture. Guest speaker for the event was Dr. Elisa Harris. The event showcased the various ways of bioterrorism and how the government is preparing for any such occurrence.
Aside from Dr. Harris, speakers from the National Security Council, Department of Science and Technology and Department of Health also gave presentations.
